How a lithium battery pack produced?

Have you ever seen how a battery pack is produced and inspected? Below we listed the import procedures and show you for better understanding. 1. Incoming materials' inspection (other materials inspection not shown out here)

Below is for BMS inspection by BMS testing machine (16S )

Below is for the single cell matching before assembling

2. Get the cells configured in one pack and waiting for spot welding:

3. Single cell spot welding (here QC will check the spot function is strong enough and do the pull-up testing)
4. After putting PVC, and Semi-completed battery pack performance inspection for over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit, ...ect protection

5. Aging / Cycling test (semi-completed battery pack) Remark: Not so many factories do the aging test for all the battery packs
Advantages by doing aging test: can find problems during this test, such as cells are not in
good matching, lower voltage, lower capacity, BMS functions...ect.
Can avoiding problems: Batteries after some time using, it can avoid problems like lower
voltage, lower capacity, can not be charged full, discharge time shorter or cannot be charged ...etc.

6. After aging test, store the batteries by 3~7 days to see the voltage drop to assure the battery pack performance.

7. further measuring the battery's voltage by each series to assure the battery cells are well matched after storage:

8. Battery Pack PVC heat shrinking
The below is first layer of PVC shrinking. It will be heat shrink two layers.

9. Completed battery pack

10. Appearance Inspection, and final functional performance checking by 100%
11. Packing and shipent

12.  Wooden Pallet Packing

After the above strictly controlling of the battery pack quality, we are proud we can control the battery funcational diffective rate within 0.3%.
